Customer Service

Qualifications:

 

• 1-3 years professional customer service, sales/telemarketing experience preferred
• Self-Confidence, highly motivated and results oriented
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking and time management skills
• Computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, strong analytical skill considered a plus
• Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales related position preferred

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
• Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
• Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
• Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• Assist FAE and outside sales with quotes and other sales supports.
• Work closely with team members to insure high customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) Technician

Qualifications:

• Previous lab experience, ideally hands-on experience working with SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope)
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Language: English, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Safety awareness: understand and follow the safety rules and procedures
• Ability to work independently, using pre-established guidelines and/or instructions with minimal supervision
• Willingness and ability to work well with fellow employees. Organized, detail-oriented team player
• Education: High school diploma or HSE required, BS degree a plus

Responsibilities:

• This position operates the SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) including EDS (Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy)
• Prepares samples for analysis
• Basic report writing and documentation of results from all assignments
• Perform other tasks as needed and some overtime required

 

Plating Technician

Qualifications:

• Working experience: 3+ years in metal finishing or related positions
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and regulatory requirements
• Language: English, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Safety awareness: understand and follow the safety policy and procedures
• Ability to work independently, using pre-established guidelines and/or instructions with minimal supervision
• Willingness and ability to work well with fellow employees. Organized, detail-oriented team player
• Education: High School diploma or HSE required, BS degree in Chemistry is a plus
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• This position performs all plating and wet processes
• Responsible for plating bath control and hazardous materials management

Process Engineer

Qualifications:

• BS degree in a technology field
• Ideally minimum 3 years hands on experience in manufacturing environment ideally in thick film processes and technology
• General experience with equipment operation, chemical / food processing, electronic component manufacturing, screen printing, conveyor furnaces or production assembly processes
• Ideal experience including screen printer setup, wire bonding technology, materials formulations, data interpretation, and process capability analysis
• Knowledge of ceramic and metal powders & pastes, organic chemistry, paints, or chemical processing are pluses
• General aptitude in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
• Excellent computer skills such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint; AutoCAD & metrology equipment knowledge are pluses

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of production thick film operators and technicians
• Project and production planning, scheduling, and execution
• Coordination of multiple production processes ensuring consistent process flow
• Project documentation and procedure maintenance, and updates in accordance with quality management system requirements
• Technical support and training of operators as needed
• Maintenance of product assembly and raw material inventories
• Interaction with multiple departments

 

Quality  Engineer

Position Summary:

Apply engineering/technical skills to make recommendations and carry out Quality improvements
with the Design, Manufacturing and Quality of AEM, Inc. High Reliability products and services.
Perform product validations, process validations and equipment qualifications, to ensure the highest
quality products and services are provided to AEM’s customers.

Responsibilities:

· Develop procedures and perform other tasks typical of the Quality Engineering position.
· Perform as an active member of product design and development teams assisting in product
qualification and validations.
· Provide support to Manufacturing in customary Quality Engineering roles, as well as provide
support to other Quality team members (Test Technicians, Calibration Technician, Receiving
Inspectors, etc.) as needed.
· Execute and administer CAPA tools as required, both internally and externally to bring about the
desired positive changes and continuous improvements.
· Define/maintain Quality metrics for internal and external reporting. Perform trend analysis as
required.
· Revise Quality System and Manufacturing procedures as required.
· Represent Quality during AS9100 Audits.
· Participate and lead AEM’s Internal Quality Audit Team.
· Visit and audit suppliers as necessary from time to time.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Manufacturing, Process or Quality Engineering
Degree a plus. Prior experience with thick film processes, electro plating, passive and/or active
component manufacturing desired.
· Three years of experience in manufacturing or quality environment required. AS9100 QMS
experience a plus.
· Strong aptitude for problem solving and root cause analysis.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
· Capable to present data (presentations) to management teams and train co-workers as needed.
· Must have ability to properly interpret Engineering drawings and clearly present that information to
others.
· ASQ Certification as a CQE, or any related ASQ certification is strongly desired.
