Open Positions:

Manufacturing Operator

We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Operator to join our growing company of 105 employees in San Diego, CA. The Manufacturing Operator’s primary responsibility will include supporting activities in machine operation and visual inspection for component manufacturing within assigned product lines. The Manufacturing Operator will report to the Product Line Manager or Product Line Supervisor and be a part of a 10-30-person team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a growing company and have an opportunity to advance in their career! 

Processes you will champion:

  • Use microscope to complete visual inspection of parts in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Use small hand tools such as tweezers, pliers, X-acto knife.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment such as thick film printers, solder paste dispensers, reflow ovens, molding machines, curing ovens, vapor degreasers and computers.
  • Escalate equipment issues to the maintenance team through verbal and written communication.
  • Verbal or written communication of problems to manufacturing leadership and assistance in identifying process variables to bring about resolution.
  • Complete paperwork such as production travelers, inspection records, and test reports to ensure effective communication and reliable documentation.
  • Adhere to AEM safety protocols and supports Company efforts toward compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies.

To be successful in this role:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Entry-level position requiring less than one year of experience  
  • 2-3 years previous experience in manufacturing, aerospace industry, preferred
  • Status as a US Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

  • Complete paperwork such as production travelers, inspection records, and test reports to ensure effective communication and reliable documentation.

To be successful in this role:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Assembly/junior technician  position requiring 2-3 years of manufacturing experience (passive electronic component manufacturing experience a plus)
  • Basic computer skills as related to MS Excel and MS Word
  • Basic understanding of concepts as related to “Ohms Law"

Customer Service Representative II

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative II to join our Sales and Marketing team of 5 in San Diego, CA. The Customer Service Representative II primary responsibilities will include generating customer quotations, performing data entry and order processing. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for drawing reviews, maintaining and updating records in the company system and all other tasks associated with customer RFQ’s and purchase orders. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, and/or manufacturing, who is looking to join a growing company, and have an opportunity to advance in their career!

Initiatives you will champion: 

  • Work closely with and mentor team members to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Processes customer orders/acknowledgements/changes/returns according to established company policies and procedures.
  • Support customers both pre and post sales with various purchase order and delivery needs.
  • Follow Purchase Orders through internal formal acknowledgment process.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to internal team.
  • Review customer RFQ requirements, and quote appropriate AEM product solutions
  • Follow up quotation status with associated Customer Representatives or customers.
  • Aid production team with various tasks including pulling inventory and ordering base parts.
  • Receive customer supplied parts and complete internal requirements.
  • Perform office administration duties including vetting customers to facility, providing weekly report summarizing key Customer Service activities and making entries to CRM system.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure high customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional customer service and sales marketing experience, preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, aerospace industry, preferred
  • High School Diploma required; AA degree preferred
  • Proficient in MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, required
  • Experience with at least one ERP/CRM, preferred
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects from inception through execution
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail, highly accurate, organization and multitasking skills
  • Must be proactive and persistent. Self-Confidence, highly motivated and results oriented
